Thanks to the lobbying efforts of the disability community, we are moving forward in our pursuit for fairness in our tax system for all persons with a severe disability. We must ensure that the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) reflects not only the spirit and objectives of the Income Tax Act but also the values of our society.
